May 1, 2017: Surgical repair of hand and arm trauma resulting from a car accident. Three months after surgery the patient began using NewGel+UV during the day and NewGel+E at night due to dissatisfaction with scar appearance.

After 6 months of twice daily NewGel+ treatment.


The patient, a TV journalist, says that at 9 months
post-surgery her scars are barely noticeable.

29 year old female immediately before initiating therapy. 


History: A 1” wound became infected with MRSA requiring
emergency surgery. The scar following surgery contracted,

reducing range of motion. Reconstructive surgery and skin

graft resulted in a severe hypertrophic scar. Multiple topical treatments were tried, but did not improve appearance of scar.

After 3 months of treatment with 2” x 24” silicone beige strip cut to fit. In addition to flattening, softening and reducing the redness of the scar, the patient reports improved range of motion.
